DOCTORAL RESEARCH · 2021
Diagnosing and Solving High Phosphorus Levels in Soils Receiving Dairy Factory Wastewater
Doctoral Researcher · Lincoln University, in partnership with Fonterra
Applied doctoral research for Fonterra, New Zealand's largest dairy processor, diagnosing why phosphorus levels were building up in soils receiving dairy-factory wastewater and testing practical solutions. Combined soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and an incubation experiment to identify cost-effective ways to reduce the risk of water contamination.

Agricultural vs. Agricultural-Pasture Rotations: Impact on Soil Health and Water Quality
Agricultural vs. Agricultural-Pasture Rotations: Impact on Soil Health and Water Quality
Assistant Researcher - INIA La Estanzuela
Uruguay
2013 - 2017
Compared agricultural and agricultural-pasture rotation systems to determine their impact on soil health and water quality, using rainfall simulators and runoff plots to measure nutrient loss — generating evidence to guide producers and policy toward rotations that protect both soil and water resources.
